In general, articulation agreements document a path between two or more institutions or universities and their university programs. Joint agreements are also mentioned in transfer agreements, transfer guides and transfer routes of different institutions. The articulation agreements seek to facilitate the transition from the NOC college to the 4-year partner curriculum. The student benefits by following very specific course plans in order to avoid unenforceable courses and reduce the loss of course credits. Rose State College and other Colleges and Universities in Oklahoma have statements of intent that identify the place equivalencies between the two institutions. These agreements support transfer students. The NOC establishes articulation agreements with partner institutions for 4 years after reviewing the program and agreeing on how completed courses meet the course requirements of the 4-year partner institution. These transfer agreements restrict the offer of courses by providing a checklist or sequence of courses that should be organized to meet the NOC waiting requirements that are in accordance with the future school. Course Equivalency Tables To see if a particular course is transferable to another university or university in Oklahoma, select the academic discipline under which the course is a subject. To view a course description, select the course name in the column title. The tables are provided in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. File sizes are shown in parentheses.
You must have installed Acrobat Reader to view the tables. Course equivalencies are table courses that can be transferred to Oklahoma colleges and public institutions (as well as to some private institutions). Each table displays equivalent courses at each university and university and is organized according to academic disciplines such as biology or history. Applicants must be able to successfully complete at least 60-67 hours of training courses required to meet the requirements of state regents, universities and departments. Check with the university/study department to find a complete list of requirements. Transfer agreements simplify the complexity of course definition and virtually eliminate portability conjecture. The NOC articulation agreements aim to save students time and money – an important advantage in dealing with the rising cost of higher education alternatives. Courses that have no equivalent OR are always transferred to university and can often be applied to a diploma.
